Long-standing customers

in the IT cooling sector

For many years, renowned companies have trusted BM Green Cooling with their air-conditioning challenges. Through solution-oriented thinking and technical know-how we can always realize an individual and thus optimal solution for you. No project is like the other – nevertheless get an overview of previous projects in the field of IT cooling.

“The employees of BM Green Cooling were able to successfully master even the most difficult situations.”

Heinz Bisping, Managing Director bisping & bisping GmbH & Co KG

The problem found

In a new building of Bispinger & Bispinger GmbH, an IT room had to be cooled as energy-efficiently as possible. Underfloor heating should use the waste heat as heating in winter and cooling in summer. The use of blade servers prevented conventional cooling. The final restriction was to ensure continuous availability in the sense of availability class 3.

Components used

  • Closed geothermal system with a drilling depth of 99m
  • Special free cooler
  • Controlled total circulation pump
  • Heat exchanger for underfloor heating
  • Electrical cabinet with MSR technology
  • Air-cooled modular old water set with heat pump function as redundancy
  • heat meter
  • RackCooler – FrontCooler
  • Ring line for redundant cold water supply

Notable key figures

  • Maximum permissible thermal load: 50 kW
  • Achieved PUE: 1.15
  • Saved energy costs: XXX.XXX €

“Above all, BM Green Cooling convinced us with its many years of reliable cooperation on these major projects.”

Site Manager Fujitsu Düsseldorf

The problem found

BM Green Cooling implemented the air conditioning of a complete data center building for Fujitsu in Düsseldorf, which mainly uses a large public service provider, in three construction phases. In the first phase of the major project, 200 m² had to be realized with the aid of direct cooling and 200 m² with the aid of indirect rack cooling. Since the building was new, the full focus was placed on energy efficiency.

Components used

  • Direct free cooling
  • Modular chillers for rack cooling and RackCooler – FrontCooler as central cooling unit
  • Pre-filter class EU 5
  • Main filter of class EU 7
  • Air-cooled modular chiller with heat pump function as redundancy
  • Raised floor with adjustable pressure between 25-50 Pascal
  • RackCooler – FrontCooler and RackCooler-SideCooler
  • Free cooler/recooler

Notable key figures

  • Maximum permissible thermal load: 1910 kW
  • Achieved PUE: 1.10
  • 4 MW cooling capacity
  • 12,000 litre buffer volume in the event of a power failure
  • Saved energy costs: XXX.XXX €

“The technical know-how and implementation strength of BM Green Cooling convinced me completely.”

Managing Director of LEOLUX GmbH

The problem found

The air conditioning of a converted data centre in Venlo, Netherlands was characterized in particular by the combination of direct and indirect free cooling. In the neighbouring building of LEOLUX GmbH it was necessary to cool 200 m² data centre directly and 73 m² technical room indirectly. The overall concept should be as modular as possible.

Components used

  • Direct free cooling
  • Small chillers
  • Electrical cabinet with instrumentation and control engineering
  • RackCooler – FrontCooler

Notable key figures

  • Maximum permissible thermal load: 660 kW
  • Achieved PUE: 1.22
  • Saved energy costs per year: 133.527 €
